Labour of Love
It was always high on my list of restoration projects to replace the acid etched brilliant cut glass window in my front door that had long since been removed. I was fortunate to salvage this piece over two years ago when one of my neighbours foolishly replaced their front door for some lovely UPVC. The old door had been propped against the front wall whilst the beautiful pine moulded surround lay chopped up in a pile next to it. Long story but the short version is that I took the door off her hands for ?30. I’ve had it stored ever since but finally, after a bit of messing about (the glass was about 1cm wider than the recess in the door) we got round to fitting it last weekend.

This is the first photo taken using a cubic zirconia I got a while ago.
Two flash guns has been used in this photo, one from behind with a blue gel and one from the left with a red gel. The flashgun from the left has been focused and shielded to only light the crystal.
